If there is one thing that Fort Collins is known for it is the local breweries and craft beers made right here in our little northern Colorado paradise. Fort Collins boasts almost a dozen craft brewers, including nationally-recognized brands like New Belgium and Odell.
Brewing is a celebrated tradition throughout Colorado, and the Colorado Brewers’ Festival is an annual event that brings together all of these breweries plus a healthy dose of good food and live music. The Colorado Brewers’ Festival, now in its 24th year, features breweries from all over Colorado (almost 40 in total) and is always a great time for those who love good food, good music, and of course, good beer!
Beer lovers, mark your calendars! The range of delicious and exotic beers on offer will be more than enough to impress and challenge even the most righteous beer snob (and Fort Collins certainly has its share of those!) From sour beers to beers with exotic flavorings like chocolate, or those aged in oak barrels like a good bourbon whiskey, you will be able to find a little bit of everything at the Colorado Brewers’ Festival. Of course, favorites like New Belgium’s Fat Tire, or Odell’s Easy Street Wheat will still be available as well.

This year’s festival will be next weekend (June 22-23) and advance tickets for both days with unlimited tasting are available for $60. For those who just want to go for one day, a tasting package is available for $22 that includes 10 taster tickets which can be redeemed for beers or food. Admission for non-drinkers/designated drivers is only $10. Additional tasting tickets can also be purchased for $1.
The Colorado Brewers’ Festival is just one of the many amazing events that Old Town Fort Collins boasts every year. And, one of the cool things about the festival is that the proceeds go to support other live events, including parades and concerts that will be happening throughout the year. So, eat, drink and be merry! You can feel even better knowing that all of the money you spend is being reinvested into bringing you even more merriment in beautiful downtown Fort Collins!
