Our first priority is to keep our clients, friends and family educated on the market so that they are empowered to make good investment decisions. To that end, each year we like to sit down with you to talk about three main things:
- What has happened and is happening in the overall real estate market.
- What changes have occurred within your immediate area and how they may affect the value of your real estate investment(s). Whether you own one property or several, our team will create a custom report that covers the past 12 months of data for each.
- Which projects and improvements make the most sense in terms of bringing you improved home value down the road. FYI – even though that new purple shag carpet might feel really great on your bare feet, it can negatively impact the value of your home. We can help you balance the ‘what I want’ with ‘what the market wants’ when it comes to home improvements.
How does it work?
Usually, our ‘in home’ Annual Review takes about 30-45 minutes to cover the three points above and to catch up on your year. Our goal is to make sure that your property stays on track as a positive investment that will yield both the best possible use for you and the best resale value if you ever choose to sell.
What do I have to do?
We have set up a scheduling calendar to make it easy to set up an Annual Review time with Leslie, Peter, or Ian. Feel free to find a time that works best for you or just email us if you’d rather just say ‘hey, how about this time’? There is no housecleaning or other prep needed. We don’t judge ;). If you are unable to meet in person please let us know and we will make sure we find a way to get you the information.
