The RIO Grande Restaurant was started in Fort Collins over 20 years ago and is still the favorite place for many locals on almost any given night of the week. A restaurant and a bar, that serves free chips and salsa is a place not to miss if you are coming to visit Fort Collins. The atmosphere is fun, fast paced and lively. Sometime there is a long wait to get a table on Friday or Saturday nights, but seating in the bar is open to first come first serve. If you pay attention you will be sure to find a table in the bar area, but you might have to bust your personal space bubble as it is often crowded and competitive to find a table.
